Free weekly Zoom office hours to begin July 27, from the UNC School of Government.
There are lots of resources available to help you navigate the various expenditure and reporting requirements for your local government's American Rescue Plan funds. To assist in the ARP process, the UNC School of Government has now launched an additional resource to add to that list. Beginning July 27, UNC SOG will begin piloting weekly Zoom Office Hours.
Bring you questions and concerns. These sessions will be focused on providing the latest updates and addressing local government technical questions about expenditure authority and compliance requirements.
From UNC's announcement:
"Our hope is that local governments will also be able to share information and helpful tips with each other during the calls. I will be joined on some calls by colleagues at the School of Government, as well as colleagues from the NC League of Municipalities, NC Association of County Commissioners, NC Pandemic Recovery Office, Department of State Treasurer, and others."
We'll pilot four initial calls to see if this is a helpful tool. We'll tweak timing and format as we go along based on what works best.
It is free to join and you do not need to pre-register. Just come with your questions!
